ALMSTHRE was created by three cyclists from San Diego, CA, whose relentless pursuit of endless adventures has always been in their blood. They seek to go further, explore more and connect deeply with nature, themselves and others. To feel alive, they believe that one should never stop exploring the unknown. They strive to get out of the comfort zone and always move forward. The art of doing is what motivates and inspires them, while passion is what fuels them. Therefore, when there is no end in sight, they keep pushing forward, because they are ALMSTHRE.

Hyper 62 marks a new chapter in the evolution of Black Inc. More than just a high-profile wheel, it is the result of a multi-year development program launched with a specific goal: to achieve total control over the elements that determine performance. The spokes, rim, hub, and connection interfaces were designed as a single system to create a wheel that is fast not only in aerodynamic tests but, above all, in the cyclist’s real-world experience.
At the heart of the project is a new, proprietary architecture featuring molded carbon spokes. Developed in-house by Black Inc, these spokes allow for precise control over shape, stiffness, strength, and dynamic behavior—a level of precision that is impossible to achieve using standard components.
