Zipp's quintessential aerodynamic wheel is now faster than ever thanks to the new Total System Efficency.

The 858s offer the advantages of a high-profile wheel but with a weight usually associated with wheels with a 20mm profile.

The 23mm inner rim groove is ideal for using wider tires at lower pressures and achieving lower rolling resistance.

This is how TSE technology helps overcome the four obstacles: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration.

The 858 NSWs have a wavy shape at the spoke engagements that at the highest points the profile is 85mm and at the lowest point 82mm. This zipp patented design which is called Sawtooth offers better performance in aerodynamics by providing stability in crosswinds.

The 858s have Carbon internal Reinforced which allows the rim to weigh 10 percent less than the previous version. The result is pure speed for triathletes and cronoman, although these wheels have been optimized for tubeless there is always the option of fitting a tubeless ready with an inner tube.

At the heart of the 858 NSW are Cogniton V2 hubs, designed for the Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for faster engagement, lower friction and increased durability.

808 FIRECREST TUBELESS DISC-BRAKE

Zipp 808 Firecrest Tubeless Disc wheels are a concentration of technology for maximum speed-the ideal approach to Zipp's range of robust, high-profile wheels for : triathlon,criterium and road races.

With a height of 80 mm, the rim is designed to make you go faster in all conditions. Zipp's Total System Efficiency, TSE, design philosophy enriches the 808 Firecrest with new features that include a significant decrease in weight over the previous version by more than 280 grams.

In addition, the wheel is designed with a hookless and tubeless profile with a 23mm wide groove. This is ideal for using wider tires at lower pressures in order to decrease rolling resistance and increase cornering grip. In fact, TSE goes to combat the four main obstacles to speed: Wind resistance, weight, rolling resistance and vibration.

Zipp's historic Firecrest rim shape provides high aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. In addition; Zipp ABLC technology uses a complex arrangement of grooves to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

But there's more: even though these wheels are optimized for tubeless covers, there is always the option of using tubeless ready covers with inner tubes.
