The new Vivid shock absorber has been built and designed to maximize your Downhill and Enduro capabilities. Versatile shock absorber that allows easy and intuitive adjustment to tackle any type of trail and terrain.
Touch Down
The Vivid's hydraulics are based on the new Touch Down technology. Each phase of the damping action flows seamlessly into the next, making your descent increasingly fluid. Vivid, thanks to this new technology, allows you to tackle any jump with: confidence, comfort and control. For small bump absorption, Touch Down technology completely bypasses compression in the first 10% of the stroke. For all the more demanding sections, 70% of the stroke relies on controlled and stable compression damping.
Adjustable hydraulic bottom stroke
VIVID uses the Adjustable Hydraulic Bottom Out (AHBO). It is simply an adjustable hydraulic bottom out that comes into play to increase the absorption phase in the last 20% of the shock travel. Depending on the rider's needs there are 5 different positions to adjust the damping effect, depending on the type of impact. The AHBO allows a wide range of Rebound adjustments to perfectly match the kinematics of the frame.
Ultimate RCT2 Tank Upgrade
The perfect feeling is easy to find thanks to the new position-sensitive Touch Down RC2T hydraulics, which offer incredible sensitivity from the beginning of the stroke, support and control in the middle, with adjustable hydraulic bottom out. External adjustments of the high and low speed compression, independent of each other. Convenient external knob for the hydraulic bottom out adjustable in five positions, for the last 20% of the travel. Lever to adjust the threshold for greater pedaling efficiency.
Thanks to the DebonAir system, the new Vivid is able to provide a more linear response, improving sensitivity to small bumps. The air spring is able to work from the beginning of the stroke, increasing support in the middle and providing adequate resistance at the end of the stroke. To have greater resistance at the end, you can add Tokens or, by eliminating them, you can exploit the maximum of the stroke.
VIVID LASTS OVER TIME
Vivid doubles down on reliability and durability, extending scheduled maintenance intervals from 50 to 100 hours of full rides. One of the updates that allows for greater durability is the new Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension Lube.
