Zipp Introduces Global Pro Road Team Lineup
Women. Men. Development riders. Tour de France veterans. Top pros from around the world roll into the 2016 pro road season on Zipp® wheels and components. Zipp increases its presence on the UCI WorldTour with the addition of Team KATUSHA. Also new, Zipp deepens its relationship with AG2R LA MONDIALE to supply the French team with bars, stems, and aero cockpits as well as wheels. This marks the first time Zipp is an official aerobar supplier to a WorldTour squad.
In women’s cycling, Zipp adds newly formed CANYON//SRAM Racing to a high-powered lineup that also includes Boels-Dolmans Cycling Team and TWENTY16 RideBiker Pro Cycling. Eyeing the future, Zipp continues to support Axel Merckx’s Axeon Haegens Berman Cycling Team and Sir Bradley Wiggins’ Team Wiggins, two squads focused on developing young riders for the pro peloton.
Zipp provides professionals with a full arsenal of Firecrest® wheels including the 303 Firecrest Disc-brake for a new era of disc-brake road racing. Zipp’s Vuka aero cockpit products and Service Course SL bars, stems, and seatposts help riders dial in their fit for optimized efficiency on the bike. Zipp, however, does more than simply provide gear. Our approach involves a constant dialog between team riders and staff and SRAM team liaisons and Zipp tech experts.
